Discover Why We Prefer Beeswax Candles to Others !

- Because it melts more slowly, a beeswax candle can outlast a paraffin candle of the same size by up to 2-3 times. It also typically lasts up to 50% longer than soy candles, so despite being more expensive up front beeswax candles have a low burn cost per hour
- Beeswax produces a bright, warm, golden flame that sits in the same light spectrum as natural sunlight, offering a more vivid and "amber-toned" glow than the others.
- Air Purification: Burning beeswax is believed to release negative ions into the air. These ions may bind to positively charged pollutants like dust, pollen, and odours, causing them to drop out of the air.
- Non-Toxic Origins: Unlike paraffin, which is a petroleum byproduct that can release carcinogens like benzene and toluene when burned, 100% beeswax is a natural byproduct of honey production.
- Natural Aroma: While soy and paraffin often rely on synthetic fragrances that can trigger migraines, beeswax has a subtle, natural honey-like scent even when unscented.
Our beeswax candles from Greentree Home Candle are made with three simple and safe ingredients! Beeswax, cotton, and dye. In addition to 100% beeswax for the candles themselves, they also use 100% cotton for the candle wicks. To create the color palette, they use aniline dyes that are specifically formulated for beeswax. Our unscented, 100% beeswax candles do have a very subtle and natural scent of honey – however, no scents are added to our candles. The use of all natural materials is an absolute must for the entire Greentree Home Candle collection.
