Antique Glass Hobnail Comport

This beautiful antique comport /pedestal bowl features a pattern of octagons and small raised pyramids, which is part of the Hobnail Suite of Glassware. It was made in England by George Davidson & Co between 1880 – 1891, as indicated by the makers ‘Lion’ mark on the base.

Excellent condition. As can be expected with an item of this age there are fine scratches on the glass surface from use, but only noticeable under close inspection. No chips or cracks or discoloration. Please look at the photos for a visual description.
