Returns & Exchanges
We want you to adore, use and admire your new purchases because your satisfaction is our highest priority. Therefore, if there is a problem with your order, we will happily accept returns for refund or exchange within 7 days of your receipt of the item, with the following provisos:
Return due to Damage or Manufacturing Defect
If for some reason your goods arrive defective or in damaged condition, you will need to notify us within 48 hours of accepting delivery. Please email us with a description of the problem and photos. Faulty goods do not include products that have been damaged because of use or a failure to comply with care instructions or to take note of details that have been made clear at the point of sale. Variations in surface appearance on antique, vintage and handmade items such as marble, reclaimed wood, rattan, handcrafted décor etc are not considered faults/ defects as their patina and imperfections are considered part of their character and bespoke nature.
Return for change of mind
In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, Love after Love is not required to offer refunds for sizing or change of mind; returns will be approved at our discretion. We do not, however, except returns or exchanges on
• used, unsaleable or “sale” goods unless the goods are faulty,
• fragile vintage items or lighting, due to risk of damage
• Gift cards
• Ear rings or Pet Bedding for hygiene reasons

After confirming your return or exchange with Customer Care, please return the goods in their original packaging to the below address:

Any refunds will be processed within 5 business days following receipt of the items at the address stated above via the same payment method used for the original transaction. A refund for faulty items will ensure you are reimbursed for the full value of the returned items including shipping both ways using Australia Post.
However, if the return is a result of change of mind, please note that all shipping and handling charges (including Afterpay and Paypal merchant fees) are non-refundable. Any costs incurred for shipping out exchanged items will be charged to you.
If you are exchanging an item, please ensure to provide a detailed description of the item you would like to receive in exchange so that our customer care team can best ensure the availability of the goods in question.
We recommend that all returns regardless of reason be posted via registered Australia Post. In returning your item, you assume the risks of loss, theft and damage of goods, so we strongly recommend that products are sent back with tracking.
