Why we Love it:
For lovers of antique tapestries this exquisite 17th century vintage Dutch tapestry fragment has been printed on 100 % oatmeal linen and is a gorgeous homage to the ancient form that exudes timeless textural beauty. Its dreamy palette features beautiful blue foliage with softer blues and blue greys, tans and caramels and birds nesting in trees and one in flight. A truly special piece to adorn your walls.

Printed in Melbourne, handmade in Newcastle Australia by the gifted designer Alicia Doyle who shares  ‘I was always searching for artworks, textiles and tapestries for my client projects and I got frustrated by lack of availability in Australia (as well as the enormous price tags) which lead me to create my own vintage inspired pieces. I’m not a fan of mass production and the thought of landfill keeps me awake at night, so I’ve made these pieces slowly and sustainably, from natural materials and fibres, with no nasties, glues or chemicals – just organic linens, cottons, dyes and FSC certified timber. It has a Tasmanian oak rod with beeswax finish and a hand dyed hemp rope.
Fabric 100 % oatmeal linen, slubby and rustic for the texture lovers.

Care instructions -
100% linen. Dry cleanable. Non-machine washable. Gentle handwash using phosphate-free detergent. Do not wring or rub. Do not tumble dry. Carefully hang to dry in shade without pegs. Warm iron on wrong side, before rehanging on hanger.
Due to the nature of natural and organic fabrics there are small fibers and slubs in the fabric that can lift the print in tiny spots with washing and general wear. Please follow washing instructions to minimize this effect. Do not rub or ring fabric.
