Antique 1890's English 9" comport

Perfect for summer afternoon teas or fruit this comport is in excellent condition

Dimensions:

Approx.  25cm diameter, 18cm high

Why we love it:

This beautiful antique comport is in excellent condition and sparkles in the light. It was made in the late 1890’s by George Davidson and Company which is embossed on the base. We love mixing antique glass, the kind of pieces your grandparents might bequeath, back with modern servery to create a timeless storied tablescape.

Excellent condition. As can be expected with an item of this age there are fine scratches on the glass surface from use, but only noticeable under close inspection. No chips or cracks. Or discoloration.  Please look at the photos for a visual description.

Note:

All of our vintage pieces are in good working condition (unless noted otherwise) and show patina consistent with age, which adds to their beauty and character and is not considered a defect.  Painstakingly sourced (and sometimes fragile) they are not able to be returned due to change of mind.
