This antique trout shaped vase is variously named as a Gluggle, Bubble or Glug Jug. So called because the fish jug features a unique shape that makes a glugging sound when you pour liquid from the its mouth.

Gurgle Fish Jugs enjoyed huge popularity in 19th century and originals are rare and highly sought after. Perfect for holding water, wine, and cocktails, the jug will make you smile every time you pour. Also make a fabulous flower vase. 

Fully hallmarked (Frie Onnaing, circa 1870-1900) as depicted and in excellent condition with fantastic bright colours and intricate details of the fish clearly visible; this beautiful antique glazed trout jug will ordain your table setting as something incredibly special and memorable. 
Would make a gorgeous and unique housewarming or wedding present.
