Exquisite Antique French Ironstone Pedestal Compote/Cake Stand

Dated between 1894 and 1913, this French pedestal cake plate is from Léon Graves, manufacturer of Clairefontaine. Model Austerlitz. Made from terre de fer, featuring soft blue foliage and ribbon design.  In exceptional condition, without chips or cracks. The ironstone shows patina, as pictured, due to its past life.  It’s treasures like these with so much history and beauty that set our hearts a flutter.
