Antique 1800's Chinoiserie Box

Why we love it:  Exquisite antique black and gilt lacquer work box from the Qing Dynasty. Beautifully detailed this incredible piece of history looks fabulous displayed on a coffee table or sideboard, alongside books and a vase of florals. It oozes elegance and is the kind of timeless piece we dreamt of acquiring when we started in business many moons ago. Sourced from a renowned collector of Asian Antiquities, it would make a stunning gift for the discerning friend, or couple (wedding anyone?) who has everything. 
In great condition. Interior has some signs of age but not chips or scuffs to the lacquer.
