Why we love it - Antique chambersticks are getting harder and harder to find. We’ve loved them for so long (longer than Merivale has been installing them as table décor in all their best venues in Sydney from Fred’s to Mrs Chow) because you can burn your candle without worrying about wax dripping as the tray collects it. Dripping wax can look so cool and sculptural and evokes for us languid hours spent by candlelight. Hours too precious to spend cleaning away wax! Chamber sticks also conjure up a wee willy winky moment. And their handles enable not just childhood memories but mean a lit candle can be held and easily moved.
