Why we love it

This beautiful coral pink Glouglou Carafe-Vase is a classic from the Faïencerie de Charolles in France. Legend has it that the Queen of England succumbed to its charms in 1958, giving it an aura that has ensured it remains a prized collector's item.
This iconic model stands out for its elegance and manifests a joyful "gurgle" when pouring its contents into a glass. An eclectic design, it was entirely handmade in the workshops of Charolles in the 1960's and is distinguished by its versatility, whether as a vase, carafe or decorative object. It is fully hallmarked on its base.

Condition - Please note the glaze at the top of the handle has been repaired and sits slightly proud of its surrounds. Please see all the pictures for best visual description.

Disclaimer - All of our vintage pieces are in good working condition (unless noted otherwise) and show patina consistent with age, which adds to their beauty and character and is not considered a defect.
