Our vintage cotton Sari Kantha Quilts are hand embroided textiles that derive their name from the Persian word ‘Suzan,’ meaning needle. Each lovely old piece wears its history; uniquely patinaed by the passage of time. A raw edge here, a patch there; creating the enviable lived in texture only found in vintage textiles. Perfectly imperfectly some might say.   

Made from old printed cotton Sari's, that have been pieced and patched together and then stitched all over with running stitch (Kantha), they are one-of-a-kind treasures to be cherished. The reverse side features contrasting textures and colours.  Draped over the end of a bed, a chair or sofa they are an exquisitely vibrant addition to your interiors.
